Wedding Invitation SUITE Suite
PERSONAL CLIENT
For this invitation suite, the couple requested a design where fun met formal using a zine format for the main invitation. The design was inspired by film festival programmes, with nods to citrus, botanicals, and of course their beloved dog.
Determining the layout for the zine element of the invitation was the first step to this design. All the desired information had to be presented on 8 pages - paper mockups at this beginning stage were vital for understanding the flow of information and the scale of the project. I centered the invite around the idea that the recipient was going to attend a premiere of a film titled "The Wedding Day". I was able to incorporate this theme into the main zine, the ticket stub, and the rehearsal dinner invitation. I created a set of custom illustrations with a stamp-like effect that I used throughout the suite, in combination with photos of the couple and stock images. I designed two custom stickers for this suite, a small lemon sticker to use as the seal of the envelope, as well as one inspired by their shared greyhound and emblazoned with the wedding date. The back of the invitation is styled as a movie poster.

The client also requested a design for can wraps for the custom beer being served at their welcome party.
